FIFA World Cup 2018 : Belgium vs Tunisia Review

91

Belgium are on the verge of qualifying for the knockouts after they beat Tunisia convincingly by the scoreline 5-2.

Eden Hazard and Lukaku bagged a brace as the Red Devils ran riot of their opponents. They started scoring early as Eden Hazard converted from the spot in the 6th minute having been brought down by Syam Ben Youssef. Romelu Lukaku scored after 16 minutes and though Dylan Bronn pulled one back for Tunisia, Lukaku made it 3-1 just before half-time.

Hazard scored his second six minutes into the second half and Michy Batshuayi made it 5-1 late on, before Wahbi Khazri scored Tunisia’s second consolation.

This win puts Belgium on top of their group with 6 points. They will require just a point of their last match to go through. But if England are to beat Panama tomorrow they will automatically qualify.

Tunisia on the other hand are almost out of the tournament but still have a mathematical chance with few results needing to go their way.

Here are the highlights of the match.
