Indian table tennis star Manika Batra got a comeback 4-3 victory against Margaryta Pesotska of Ukraine in the second round of the women’s singles table tennis event.
Manika Batra books a spot in next round
Manika Batra went on to beat Margaryta Pestoksa 4-3 (4-11, 4-11, 11-7, 12-10, 8-11, 11-5, 11-7) to progress to the next round. That marks two wins in a row for the Indian ace, who has come from behind to snatch a win.
Margaryta Pesotska has been dominant as she took 2-0 lead against Batra. She took the first game 11-4 before clinching the second one 11-4 yet again inside six minutes.
Manika then made a comeback to make it 2-2. She made a brilliant comeback into the game as she clinches the fourth game 12-10 to make it 2-2.

Batra then took the sixth game 11-5 as she totally dominated Margaryta Pesotska. She also won the deciding seventh set to come out on top.
