Indian cricket mourns the passing of NBA legend Kobe Bryant

    Yesterday marked a tragic event in the world of sport as former Los Angeles Lakers superstar and American Basketball icon Kobe Bryant passed away after an unfortunate helicopter crash. Along with 8 other occupants on board, including Kobe’s daughter Gianna Bryant, the helicopter crashed in Orange Country, California. As the world mourns, the Indian cricket community took it to Twitter to express their lamentation.

    The country’s cricketing icon Sachin Tendulkar tweeted a photo of Kobe and his daughter Gigi with a grieving caption.

    Saddened to hear about the tragic demise of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna & others on-board the helicopter.

    Former Men in Blues superstar Virender Sehwag posted his tweet with a heartwarming picture of a young Gianna with her father.
