The IPL 2020 season, the 13th edition of the cash-rich cricket league has its 39th match on 21st October when Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

KKR snatched a stunning Super Over win against SRH last Sunday. While the batting performance was more or less mediocre, with opening batsman Gill scoring a 36, followed by the new skipper Morgan at a 34, the superb bowling performance made the difference for KKR.
IPL 2020 debutant Lockie Ferguson picked three scalps in defending their total of 163 and won the match with his mesmerising 2-2 in the Super Over. Cummins, Mavi and Varun Chakravarti secured one wicket each.

On the other hand, Chris Morris continues to shine, earning a 4-wicket haul against RR, while Chahal picked two scalps.

In their previous faceoff in the current IPL season, RCB had destroyed the KKR batting order with a whopping 82 run victory. With the Kohli-ABD duo landing consistent fireworks in matches, the Kolkata batting order needs to be on top of their game. However, the excellent arrival of Lockie Ferguson in the squad will be a confidence boost for KKR to oust the threatening RCB batting lineup.
