Swashbuckling Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan has recently shared a heart-warming video on Instagram as his little son Zoravar Dhawan celebrates his seventh birthday. Meanwhile, the father-son duo can be seen doing arm-wrestling in the video, hugging and doing many other fun activities as well. However, it looked like the veteran batsman is not with Zoravar on his special day as he wrote ‘miss you’ in the caption.
“Happy Birthday my boy! I love you so much! Really proud to see you grow up. Miss you lots,” he wrote on his social media account. The super-cute video left everyone in split and fans started commenting in no time as they wished the little boy.
Shikhar Dhawan last played for India against Australia in the limited-overs series where he played a crucial role in the Team India’s success. Team India lost the One Day International series by 1-2 whereas won the Twenty20 International series by 2-1. He smashed 201 runs in six games in the limited-overs series as well. Following that, he then toured to UAE for the wedding of his teammate Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanshree Verma.
It was likely that incident because of which he missed Zoravar’s birthday celebration but posted an adorable video on Instagram.

While many players of the limited-overs series have returned from Australia, the Test team is still down under for the four-match Test series. However, India started in the Test series with a humiliating eight-wicket defeat in the first Day-Night Test at the Adelaide Oval. Moreover, their regular captain Virat Kohli has returned home to be with his wife as they are expecting their first child in January.
On the other hand, their key pace bowler Mohammed Shami has been injured and ruled out of the remaining fixtures as well. But the Team India have bounced back well in the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) under the stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane. They bowled Aussies out for 195 runs in the first innings whereas India have scored 326 runs in the Day 2 and claimed 6 wickets of the visitors.
Currently, Australia have a lead of 2 runs on Day 3.
