Chelsea wunderkind Callum Hudson-Odoi was inches away from getting hit with a burger allegedly thrown by supporters of Nottingham Forest.
In their FA Cup match against Nottingham Forest which was Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas’ last match, Hudson-Odoi was in the pitch for only 42 minutes. The Blues won the match 2-0 in comfortable fashion.
Hudson-Odoi has only 18 months left in his contract and is keen to move on from Stamford Bridge.
The 18-year-old English winger has been targeted by Bundes Liga club Bayern Munich and many Chelsea fans are upset at the prospect of losing such a wonderful talent of their Academy.
The teen, who was part of England’s Under-17 World Cup-winning team of 2017, finally made his first Premier League appearance of the season as a substitute against Watford on Boxing Day.
However, no further leads have appeared as to who could have hurled the cheeseburger towards Callum.
Whatever the reason, disgraceful acts such as these have increased in the last few days where Raheem Sterling was the victim of racial abuses and UEFA had promised to conduct investigations.
