An emotional and teary-eyed Cesc Fabregas was given a standing ovation after playing his final game for Chelsea on Saturday.
It is expected that the Spaniard will move to Ligue 1 club AS Monaco in the next few days.
Fabregas was handed a start and the captaincy by Maurizio Sarri for the visit of Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup this afternoon.
Although he missed a penalty in the first half, regardless, he received a standing ovation from the Chelsea supporters at full-time.

Fabregas also celebrated 500 games recently in the Premier League and thanked his supporters with a warm message on Twitter.
