A young wicket-keeper batsman who has just started making his mark in international cricket revealed that the one thing that scares him the most is the anger of the Indian captain, Virat Kohli.
Pant’s IPL team, Delhi Capitals uploaded a video which had Rishabh Pant saying, “I am not scared of anyone but Virat bhaiya ke gusse se dar lagta hai(I am scared of Virat Kohli’s anger).”
However, he went on to add, “But if you are doing everything correctly, then why he(Kohli) should get angry. But if you make a mistake and someone gets angry with you, it’s because you only learn from your mistakes.”
Pant has played some good knocks at the highest level in the past months and is all set to replace Mahendra Singh Dhoni in limited overs cricket once the legend retires.
However, his glove-work has left the captain and the team disappointed at times.
A recent example is of the incident in the ODI series against Australia where Pant conceded a single after trying a Dhoni-like stumping attempt.
