The 34 year old crossed the astounding milestone yesterday, and is leaps and bounds ahead of superstar Ariana Grande, the American singer and actress who is at 173 million. Only one account that is still ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo is the official account of Instagram itself, with a monumental follower count of 330 million.

Ronaldo’s counterpart in the beautiful game, Lionel Messi is the 8th most followed celebrity on Instagram with 141 million followers. Paris Saint Germain superstar Neymar Jr is the third most followed footballer on Instagram and 10th on the list, with a follower count of 132 million.
