Rain could have an impact on Saturday, October 14’s highly anticipated India vs. Pakistan 2023 World Cup match at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. On the day of the match, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light showers for the city.

India and Pakistan have both had tremendous starts to their World Cup campaigns. In their first game in Chennai, the Men in Blue defeated Australia by six wickets; in their second game in Delhi, the hosts crushed Afghanistan by eight wickets.

Pakistan, on the other side, defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets after winning by 81 runs against the Netherlands. This was the most successful chase in the history of the men’s ODI World Cup.

The IMD was cited by news agency PTI as stating that “light showers may occur at isolated places in Ahmedabad district on October 14” before of the India-Pakistan match in Ahmedabad.

“The atmosphere will remain cloudy. The next day, light rains may occur in Ahmedabad and other northern districts, such as Banaskantha, Sabarkantha and Arvalli,” Manorama Mohanty, director of Meteorological Centre in Ahmedabad, told the news agency.

Rain has already caused problems during this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) final in Ahmedabad between the Gujarat Titans (GT) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The game proceeded to the reserve day, where CSK emerged victorious in an exciting finale.
