Michael Vaughan feels ICC is being partial towards Virat Kohli; gets a savage reply from the organisation

Yesterday just about an hour before India’s opening match in the Cricket World Cup 2019 against South Africa began, the International Cricket Council, a.k.a. the ICC posted a special pictorial tribute for the World’s top ranked batsman in ODIs and Test matches, i.e. the King himself, Virat Kohli. However, former English batsman Michael Vaughan did not take the tweet by Cricket’s governing body too well. He sarcastically accused the ICC of being partial towards Kohli.

ICC had posted a picture of Kohli dressed in the drapes of an English King with the crown on his head sitting on the royal throne.

ICC was quick enough to justify their initial tweet and simply reminded Vaughan of the fact that Kohli is both the highest ranked batsman in the ODIs as well as in the test format of the sport and that is why they considered him to be the king.
