M.S. Dhoni hits 201 IPL matches

Dhoni became the first player in the history of the tournament to reach the 200 IPL matches milestone. 171 of those matches have been for Chennai Super Kings, while 30 were for Rising Pune Supergiant. Hot on his heels is Rohit Sharma with 197, while Suresh Raina has played 193, Dinesh Karthik has 192, while Virat Kohli has 187. With games remaining, this record could yet be broken. Chris Gayle becomes 2nd oldest player to hit 50 or more runs in a single innings

His impressive 53 hits off 45 balls playing against Royal Challenger Bangalore. Shikhar Dhawan finally achieves his first century

Among the players who have achieved a century in the IPL, Shikar Dhawan has taken the longest. Interestingly, he also becomes the first player to hit consecutive centuries after hitting his first 101 against CSK, followed by 106 against Kings XI Punjab. He had to wait 4,564 days to reach his first century, which translates to almost 12 years and 6 months. Mayank Agarwal and Virat Kohli held the previous record.
Kolkata Knight Riders have the worst total after 20 overs

After playing a full 20 overs, KKR could only manage to achieve 84/8 against RCB. This means they hold the record for the lowest score in an IPL game after playing the entire 20 overs. The other teams ranked below KKR to have the lowest totals after 20 over are Kings XI Punjab with 92/8, Mumbai Indians with 94/8, Kings XI Punjab with 95/9, Royal Challengers Bangalore with 96/9, and Pune Warriors India with 99/9.
Best Wicketkeeper/Bowler dismissal

Rishabh Pant and Kagiso Rabada now hold the record for the most dismissals as a wicketkeeper and bowler pair. The Delhi capitals’ players now account for 18 wickets after playing 25 matches together. They are followed by pairs M.S. Dhoni, and Dwayne Bravo with 15, Wriddhiman Saha and Sandeep Sharma have 13, while the combinations of Dinesh Karthik – Andre Russell, Naman Ojha-Bhuvneshwar, and M.S. Dhoni – Shardul Tharkul each have 10. While these are just some of the milestones that have been achieved so far, more records are expected to be broken before the IPL 2020 reaches its conclusion.
