August 13, 2025, Gwalior: On day 9 of season 2, the Pro Panja League, which was co-founded by Parvinn Dabass and Preeti Jhangiani, continued to feature thrilling matches from some of the nation’s top arm wrestlers. In a close game, Kiraak Hyderabad upset Rohtak Rowdies to stay ahead of the standings and become the first team to reach 100 points. With a resounding 25-7 victory over Mumbai Muscle, home team MP Hathodas turned the tide. The 16-year-old Kimkima of MP Hathodas took center stage after defeating Vikram Sekhawat of Mumbai Muscle and earning player of the day. Stewe Thomas of Kiraak Hyderabad defeated Manoj Debnath of the Rohtak Rowdies with an outstanding flash-pin, earning him the Bullet Badshaho ka Badshah trophy.

In the 65 kg women’s division, Kiraak Hyderabad got off to a solid start in Undercard Fixture 1 as Madhura KN defeated Rohtak Rowdies’ Ribasuk Lyngdoh Mawphlang 2-0. The 65+ kg division saw a change in momentum when Nirmal Devi of Rohtak Rowdies defeated Jincy Jose of Kiraak Hyderabad 2-0. Srinivas BV continued the Rowdies’ winning streak in the specially-abled division with a cool 2-0 victory over Kiraak Hyderabad’s Chandan Kumar Behera.

MP Hathodas faced Mumbai Muscle in the second undercard fixture. Md. Hashim gave Hathodas the ideal start in the 100 kg division by defeating Tom Joseph of Mumbai 2-0. MD Hashim performed admirably to hold and win two consecutive rounds in spite of Tom’s unrelenting onslaught. For MP Hathodas, Niranjan Singh defeated Mumbai Muscle’s Krishna Sharma 2-0 in the specially-abled division. Mumbai Muscles retaliated in the 65 kg class when Bandarika Kharkongor defeated Arvika Dutta of MP Hathodas by a narrow margin of 2-1.

In the 70 kg division, Kiraak Hyderabad won the first Main Card Fixture, while Stewe Thomas defeated Manoj Debnath of Rohtak Rowdies 10-0 to win the challenger round and bonus points. In the 100 kg division, Rohtak Rowdies retaliated after star player Dara Singh defeated Amit Singh of Kiraak Hyderabad 4-1 by outmuscling him. Dara Singh won the third round and the two extra points after playing a defensive strategy in the first two rounds to wear out his opponent.

Siddharth Malakar and Pranjit Saikia engage in pulsating contest

With Siddharth Malakar defeating Rohtak Rowdies’ Pranjit Saikia 6-3 in an incredibly thrilling fight, the 90 kg bout ended the match on a high note for Kiraak Hyderabad. Siddharth easily won the opening round, but Pranjit recovered by pinning his opponent in the following two rounds. However, Siddharth scored five additional points for his team and won the tie because he did a good job defending and holding his position in the challenger round. Rohtak Rowdies lost the match to Kiraak Hyderabad 18–12.
Kimkima of MP Hathodas opened the Main Card Fixture 2 with a commanding performance, defeating Vikram Sekhawat of Mumbai Muscle 10-0 in the 100+ kg class. Kimkima shown exceptional class by winning all three rounds and the challenger round to secure vital points for MP Hathodas, despite being the league’s youngest player.
Pramod Mukhi of Mumbai Muscle and Kanan Borgohain of MP Hathodas shared five points each in the thrilling 100 kg match. Despite the intense competition between the two, Pramod prevailed in all three rounds. Kanan did well to keep his position and win five points for MP Hathodas, but Pramod was unable to pin his opponent in less than seven seconds when he claimed the challenger round. MP Hathodas had further victory at the end of the day when Arya P flash-pinned Ardhra Suresh for three rounds in a row to win 5-0. By a huge margin of 25-7, MP Hathodas defeated Mumbai Muscle.
