India’s cricket stars, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, have touched down in Colombo, Sri Lanka, gearing up for the upcoming 3-match ODI series. Joining them are other players, including KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, and Kuldeep Yadav.

Kohli arrived in Sri Lanka on July 29, while Rohit, along with KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Kuldeep Yadav, and Harshit Rana, reached the island nation earlier. The star duo will participate in training sessions ahead of the ODI series, which kicks off on August 2.
Both Rohit and Kohli announced their retirement from T20Is after India’s T20 World Cup victory. Despite speculations about rest, Rohit was named the ODI captain, and Kohli secured a spot in the 15-member squad.
Following their T20I retirement, Kohli spent time with his wife Anushka Sharma and their children, while Rohit enjoyed family moments in the USA with his wife Ritika Sajdeh and daughter Samaira.
The ODI series also marks the return of Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, and World Champion Kuldeep Yadav. Harshit Rana aims to make his India debut during the series. They will train under India’s assistant coach, Abhishek Nayar, in Colombo.

The three ODIs will take place at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, with matches scheduled for August 2, 4, and 7. As the Indian team prepares for the ODI battles, fans eagerly await thrilling cricket action in the beautiful island nation of Sri Lanka.
