Puneri Paltan and Jaipur Pink Panthers dominate their opposition in PKL Season 10

The last match in Noida leg of PKL Season 10 on Wednesday produced enthralling action as the defending champions Jaipur Pink Panthers and Puneri Paltan both produced dominating wins against their oppositions Haryana Steelers and UP Yoddhas respectively at Noida Indoor Stadium.

PKL Season 10: Panthers crush Steelers

In the first match Jaipur Pink Panthers outsmart Haryana Steelers with a huge 11 points difference(45-34). Panthers’ raider Arjun Deshwal displayed superb performance with 14 raid points. The Iranian defender Reza Mirbagheri starred with 7 tackle points. Steelers’ Chandran Ranjit(11 raid points) and Mohit(5 tackle points) did well, but was not enough to defeat the reigning champs.

With this win, Panthers moved to 3rd spot in the points table and looking strong to reserve a playoff berth. While Haryana Steelers are losing momentum with consecutive defeats and are now at 7th position.

PKL Season 10: Puneri Paltan continue their Supremacy

Puneri Paltan is turning out to be dangerous team with each game passing by. They are strongly positioned at the top of the table after their win against the home team UP Yoddhas with 9 points difference(40-31). They also have an unimaginable points difference of 135. On the other hand, UP Yoddhas are failing to gain momentum as they ended their last home game with a disappointing defeat.

Paltan, just like their previous outings, once again produced all round performance. Captain Aslam Inamdar led the charge with 8 raid and 3 tackle points. Chiyaneh was the best defender with 5 tackle along with 2 raid points. Mohit Goyat(5 points), Akash Shinde(5 points and Pankaj Mohite(3 points) also provided useful contributions.

PKL Season 10: The actions shifts to Mumbai

After a thunderous response in Noida, the PKL action now shifts to the Commercial Capital Mumbai. The Mumbai leg matches, which will also marks beginning of Week 6, will commence on Saturday January 6th, after a 2 day break.

The home team U Mumba will be in action against Jaipur Pink Panthers and Telugu Titans will face Gujarat Giants in the weekend double header.
