Paris Saint Germain and Neymar Jr- the two biggest names in the footballing world aren’t exactly getting well together in recent history. Following a series of failed efforts to secure an exit from the club, the Brazillian has become a subject of hatred to the club’s fanbase. And now, sources say the PSG president, Nasser Al Khelaifi wants to see the club superstar doing runaround in the field!
According to a Brazillian businessman, who’s name has not been revealed, who reportedly met the PSG club hierarchy, has told ESPN journalist Jorge Nicola why the club president Al Khelafi has not allowed a transfer to happen.
“Nasser’s dream was to make Neymar run around the field until the contract was over. He is disgusted with Neymar because PSG has done everything for him” the businessman told Nicola, as stated on his blog on Yahoo!
The 27 year old was signed from the Blaugranas for a world record fee of £198 million in the 2017, but grew a distaste at Parc des Princes, wishing a return to Camp Nou.
The Brazil international has already has been a victim of slangs and verbal abuse from the supporters, along with the president being disappointed with the Samba front man’s ‘pop star’ lifestyle.
“I want players willing to give everything to defend the honour of the jersey and to join the club project. Those who do not want that, or do not understand, we will meet and we will talk to each other.” Al Khelafi said back in July, according to France Football.
The former Barcelona winger has been all out to make a transfer away from Ligue 1, and even reportedly offered to pay a part of his own transfer fee himself, speculated to be around £17.7million. However, there have been no response from the Catalans.
