Paul George scored the game-winning basket for the Oklahoma City Thunder as they defeated the Utah Jazz 148-147 in a double overtime game. George scored 45 points in the game, and teammate Russell Westbrook scored 43, but he fouled out in the latter stages. Donovan Mitchell scored 38 for the Jazz but failed to convert a buzzer-beater at the end of the first overtime.
The Wizards lost their third straight game as the Hornets defeated them 123-110. Kemba Walker top-scored for them with 27 points, as Bradley Beal’s 46 point night went in vain for the Wizards.
DeMar DeRozan’s return to Toronto was spoiled as the Raptors beat the Spurs 120-117. Former Spur Kawhi Leonard scored 25, and DeRozan scored 23 on a night when the Raptors paid tribute to him for his service.
The Bulls won against the Magic, defeating them 110-109 on the back of 25 points for Lauri Markkanen. Meanwhile, the Pacers came back to win against the Pelicans, and Pistons beat the Hawks after a 20-20 showing from Andre Drummond.
Karl-Anthony Towns sat out as the Timberwolves defeated the Knicks 115-104. Montrezl Harrell scored 30 points as the Clippers beat the Grizzlies 112-106. The Mavericks, playing without Luka Doncic slipped to a 114-104 loss against the Nuggets.
