Satwik-Chirag’s fight in the semis

Satwik-Chirag had a tough start in the first game, trailing 6-11 at the halfway mark. Despite their efforts to recover, they couldn’t overcome the strong performance of their opponents, who dominated the court and wrapped up the first game in just 19 minutes. The second game saw Satwik-Chirag showing more resilience, even leading 11-8 at one point. However, Kim and Seo mounted a comeback to seal the game 21-15.

Reflecting on the match, Satwik mentioned that they could have followed their game plan better and played with more attitude. He acknowledged the solid performance of their opponents and emphasized their opponents’ solid performance toughness. Chirag added that they gave away a few easy points and praised their opponents’ serving skills.

Despite the disappointment, Satwik-Chirag will be looking to bounce back quickly as they prepare for the India Open, which starts on January 14. The duo will face Malaysia’s Wei Chong Man and Kai Wun Tee in the Round of 32. It was a tough match, but Satwik-Chirag remains determined to improve and perform better in future tournaments.
