Kerala Blasters Football Club (KBFC) has secured the services of experienced French defender Alexandre Coeff. Coeff, who most recently played for SM Caen in the French Ligue 2, has inked a one-year contract with the Blasters.
Although predominantly a centre-back, Coeff has demonstrated impressive versatility throughout his career. He comfortably slots in as a defensive midfielder and right back when needed.
Kerala Blasters’ new addition: Alexandre Coeff
Born in France, Coeff began his football journey in the youth ranks of various clubs, including RC Lens. His professional career took off with moves to Italian Serie A club Udinese and La Liga club Granada FC. He later had loan spells with teams like RCD Mallorca, Mouscron, and Ajaccio before joining AE Larisa in Greece.
Coeff boasts an impressive track record with 320 career appearances across major leagues. He has also contributed to 25 goals during his career. Coeff has represented the France National Team at various age group levels.

Kerala Blasters’ Sporting Director, Karolis Skinkys, expects leadership qualities from Coeff. Upon signing with the Blasters, Alexandre Coeff expressed his excitement: “Hello to the entire Yellow Army, thank you for this warm welcome. I can’t wait to vibrate with you on the ground. See you soon.”
Alexandre Coeff joins the Blasters as their second foreign signing of the summer, following Noah Saddaoui. He will soon link up with his new teammates after requesting additional time due to personal reasons.
