The Kolkata Knightriders are going through a rough patch in this season of the Indian Premier League having lost five games on the trot. The Dinesh Karthik led side started the tournament with a bang and were also comfortably placed at the top of the points table at one point of time by winning four of their first five games. Everything from there on seems to be going downhill for the two-time champions.
With four games to go, the KKR side will have to go all guns blazing as they will need to win all four of them to stay afloat in the competition. Presently, they are placed at the Sixth position with 8 points in 10 matches.
Their last face-off was against the Sunrisers Hyderabad wherein they were outplayed in all the departments by the men in orange. The current state of affairs has resulted in massive disappointment for the loyal fans.
Gautam Gambhir, a former captain of the KKR team who led the side to two IPL championships also shared a heartfelt message on Twitter and urged the men in Purple and Gold to bounce back and end the form slump. Gambhir stated that he finds it trough to see KKR side struggling to win, and he wants them to regroup and go for the kill.
Here is the tweet that Gambhir put out:

The Kolkata Knightriders are all set to face Rajasthan Royals next at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
