Tottenham striker Harry Kane will not face any punishment after an apparent headbutt at Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta on Wednesday. Chelsea won 2-0 at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League, and Kane had a moment to forget in the game.

He appeared to move his head towards the Chelsea skipper, but referee Andre Marriner did not pay much attention. Marriner revealed in his match report that he saw it, but judged to ignore it to a certain extent.
It happened when Chelsea knocked the ball out of play as Kieran Trippier wanted to receive some treatment. Kane pressed David Luiz when Spurs returned the ball, which irritated the Chelsea centre-back. He complained to Kane, and the England captain took offence. Azpilicueta moved to Luiz’s defence, when Kane made the alleged movement.
This will be a boost to Mauricio Pochettino, as Kane has been a talisman at times for his side. He has scored 21 goals in 33 games this season. Two consecutive losses for Spurs means that they need his goals now more than ever.
The likes of Manchester United and Arsenal are closing in, and clinching a top-four spot is far from a certainty. Spurs will face Arsenal in the North London derby on Saturday, and Kane will hope to continue his terrific record in the fixture.
