Chelsea club management were very much interested to bring Leandro Paredes in this winter transfer window. However, the way things are going on, it might be impossible for the Blues to land Leandro Paredes from Zenit St Petersburg in this January.

The club management of Zenit St Petersburg already rejected a bid around £35 million for Leandro Paredes. They are trying to increase the transfer fee of the star Argentine midfielder in this situation.
The French side Paris Saint Germain have also shown their interest to land Leandro Paredes in this winter transfer window. So, a bidding war is surely on the cards to sign this player and the club management of Zenit St Petersburg just want that to happen for the sale of Leandro Paredes.
