The Indian Super League (ISL) outfit Kerala Blasters is all set to sign Noah Sadaoui from FC Goa on a two-year deal. This move is expected to significantly bolster the team’s attacking prowess for the upcoming seasons.
Noah Sadaoui in Kerala Blasters
Noah Sadaoui, a 30-year-old Moroccan forward, has agreed to the deal with Kerala Blasters as early as February. He will represent the southern club until the end of the ISL 2025-26 season. This move marks a significant milestone in Sadaoui’s career, which began in Wydad Casablanca’s youth ranks and later took him to the New York Red Bulls academy.
Sadaoui’s performance in the ISL has been impressive. In the 2022-23 season, he scored 6 goals and provided 3 assists for FC Goa. His consistent performances have made him a valuable asset in the league.
However, it is still unclear who Sadaoui will replace in the Kerala Blasters squad. Talks to extend Dimitrios Diamantakos’ contract aren’t making progress. Jaushua Sotirio and Kwame Peprah are under two-year contracts but are currently injured. Sotirio will return to the Blasters camp this month to continue his recovery, along with Adrian Luna.
Sadaoui’s international career has also been noteworthy. He has made four appearances for the Moroccan National Team, notably excelling in the 2020 African Nations Championship, where Morocco emerged victorious.
The signing of Sadaoui is a clear indication of Kerala Blasters’ intent to strengthen their squad and compete at the highest level in the ISL. Fans of the club will be eagerly waiting to see Sadaoui in action and how his addition will impact the team’s performance in the upcoming seasons.
