EA Sports have officially revealed the cover star for the FIFA 20 Ultimate Edition, which is the topmost version of the game, and its no other than the all time legend of the game itself – Zinedine Zidane, who will also be available an ICON player in the Ultimate Team game mode.
The current coach and former Real Madrid star is the third player to be featured on the cover for this year’s FIFA installment, following Zizou’s new tutee at Santiago Bernabéu Eden Hazard and Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk, starring on the Standard and Champions Edition, respectively.
The 1998 World Cup winner was the only Ballon d’Or winner who didn’t appear on the cover of any previous FIFA games.
The Frenchman has joined the list of Andrea Pirlo, Didier Drogba, Ian Wright, Ronald Koeman- all confirmed to be available in the FIFA 20’s Ultimate Team game mode as players.
A total of 90 ICONs will be announced by EA Sports in the coming days- all available as players to build up teams. In addition to that, Zidane will also be available as a manager card, along with three different player cards.
FIFA 20 is launching on September 24 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch, and is now available to pre order.
