Apart from his superb spin bowling, leggie Yuzvendra Chahal has quite a presence online. The 29-year-old is renowned for keeping his fans entertained with some hilarious antics and with the country in a lockdown due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, Chahal has vested much of his spare time creating several ludicrous contents or commenting ridiculously on his colleague’s posts. Recently, Chahal was spotted requesting actor Anushka Sharma to urge her husband Virat Kohli to make him (Chahal) an opener for the national team when play resumes!
It all started on Friday, when the Bollywood star uploaded a video on her Instagram channel where she was seen giving her husband an ‘on-field experience’ by continuously nagging him to smack a boundary.
“I thought he must be missing being on the field. Along with the love he gets from millions of fans, he must be especially missing this one particular type of fan too. So I gave him the experience ,” Anushka captioned.
And naturally, the video went viral within no time with many fans and celebrities appreciating the clip.
Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal who had to make his presence felt, came up with another hilarious comment yet again.
The RCB spinner, requested Anushka to urge her husband to make him open for India.
“Next time bhabhi please say chahal ok opening Kara na chahal ko I wish aapki sun le,” he commented.
Chahal was supposed to join his skipper at the RCB camp last month, but the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has led to the cancellation of the tournament.
“Due to the evolving global health concerns regarding COVID-19 and lockdown measures implemented by the Government of India to contain the spread of the pandemic, the IPL Governing Council of the BCCI has decided that the IPL 2020 Season will be suspended till further notice,” Jay Shah, the BCCI Honorary Secretary said in a press release.
