Yuvraj Singh was considered as one of the best all-rounders in world cricket in his cricketing days. He has had a stunning career for India. While he has several memorable moments in his career, the most memorable one was certainly his six sixes in an over way back in 2007.

On September 19, 2007, Yuvraj Singh made history by becoming the first cricketer to smash six sixes in an over in the shortest format of the game. The magical incident happened during T20 World Cup match between India and England in Kingsmead Durban when he hit the speedster Stuart Broad.

India were at 171/3 after the 18th over and two of their swashbuckling players – Yuvraj Singh and the then captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni were on the crease. To make thing worse, they decided to punish the English bowlers. Meanwhile, just before Broad started his over, Yuvraj Singh had a verbal tiff with England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff and this possibly ensured the all-rounder smash the bowler all over the park.

However, with this, Yuvraj Singh also became the first and the only Indian player so far to smash six sixes in an over in international cricket. While sharing a throwback picture from that day, Yuvraj wrote on his Instagram, “13 years! How time flies!! #memories.”

While several cricketers commented on the post, Stuart Broad also responded in a funny way. He wrote, “Time flies less than the cricket ball that night.”

Meanwhile, former Indian player Gautam Gambhir also commented in the post in a different style. He added, “Ye record mujhe de de Thakur.” Apart from them, other cricketers like Chris Gayle, Kuldeep Yadav, Munaf Patel have also commented on the post as well.

On the other hand, the ace all-rounder had announced his retirement from international cricket in June last year. However, earlier this month, he had also announced that he wants to return in action for Punjab in domestic cricket this season. Even he was seen training with the players as well.
