The duo started their campaign with a nail-biting match against the Monte Carlo Masters champions, Sander Gille and Joran Vliegen. Despite being the underdogs, Bhambri and Olivetti emerged victorious with a score of 4-6, 7-6, 10-6. This victory set the tone for their performance in the tournament.

In the quarterfinals, they faced the American pair of Evan King and Robert Galloway. Displaying their on-court prowess, Bhambri and Olivetti defeated the American pair in straight sets (6-3, 6-3).

Their semi-final match was against the Austrian pair of Alexander Erler and Lucas Miedler. The Indo-French pair started strong, securing the first set 6-1 with consecutive breaks of serve. Despite a setback in the second set, which was won by the Austrian duo 6-7 (5-7), Bhambri and Olivetti made a comeback in the decider, taking an early lead and eventually winning the match 10-7.

This victory not only secured their spot in the final but also marked the end of the reign of the defending champions, Erler and Miedler. In the final, they will face the pair of Theo Arribage and Victor Cornea, who defeated Marcus Daniell and Philipp Oswald in the other semi-final.

Bhambri’s decision to focus on doubles has been paying off, as evidenced by his recent performances. His partnership with Olivetti has proven to be a formidable force in the tournament. The duo will be chasing their first title when they feature in the grand finale of the tournament.
