He sent out a series of Tweets in which he revealed why he decided to bring the matter to light. In one of the Tweets he wrote: “I was hurt and offended. I thought not to tolerate such kind of behaviour and didn’t want anyone to go through these kind of bullying. I decided I will go out and expose the chat in public eye, but not his/her name”
While in another Tweet he said: “My nature isnt such that I will harm anyone to the extent of ending someone’s career. So on grounds of humanity looking at his/her family, I am not exposing the name for the time being. But if any such repetition happens, I will not hold back.”
In the third one he thanked his fans and wrote: “I thank each and everyone who has shown support and extended their willingness to help. My gratitude.”

BCCI wants to look into the serious issues

TOI reported that the BCCI authorities have discussed the issue and believe that the grievances of every player, selector, coach, support staff, and official need to be probed. According to sources, the BCCI management has come to know about a few issues that the players are reluctant to share.

“It’s not just about Saha alone. Every player needs to be heard. For this, you need a neutral party to carry out such a process. But for that, you will first need consent from every stakeholder,” a BCCI source said.

It seems that a grievance panel for players would be a great decision to implement. But such a panel should be independent of and outside the powers and favor of the BCCI. Players will speak up freely only when they feel it is transparent, fair and genuinely autonomous of a body that has control over their careers.
