WWE: Wrestling legend Vader passes away at 63

Wrestling legend Big Van Vader or simply known as just Vader, passed away aged 63 after a battle for life against pneumonia.

Vader’s son broke the news on social media, saying, “Around a month ago my father was diagnosed with a severe case of Pneumonia. He fought extremely hard and clinically was making progress. Unfortunately, on Monday night his heart had enough and it was his time.”

Vader had went through open-heart surgery in March this year and he was reported to be making progress with his health conditions.

Vader, real name Leon White, had an illustrious professional wrestling career, being a three time WCW Heavyweight Champion as well as having some memorable feuds with legends such as The Undertaker and Kane during his tenure in the WWE.

He was also a WCW United States Heavyweight Champion, two time AJPW Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion, and the winner of the 1993 Battlebowl Battle Royal.
