The Indian women mat wrestlers will lock horns against their American counterparts on March 31 in “Hollywood wrestles Bollywood” in Los Angeles. The matches will be a part of the 5th Annual Benefit and International Competition, a fundraiser event, hosted by “Beat the Streets, Los Angeles.”
Olympic medallist Sakshi Malik will spearhead India’s challenge which also includes Vinesh Phogat and Pooja Dhanda. The most prominent name in the USA line-up is Adeline Gray. The 28-year-old is a four-time world champion, having also represented the nation in 2016 Summer Olympics. She will be in action in the 73kg category.
The Indian contingent will stay back for a training camp till April 12 in Los Angeles following their exploits.
