Wolves knocked Manchester United out of the FA Cup on Saturday. It was an away game for Manchester United and Wolves dominated at their home. Wolves won the match with a margin of 2-1 in their favour.
Manchester United went into the match with all their first team players. Only the star Spanish Goalkeeper David De Gea was in the bench as Sergio Romero started in all the matches of the FA Cup so far. Rui Patricio was not there for Wolves at the Goal and Ruddy was under the bars for the home side in this match.
Both the sides failed to create any clear cut chance in the first half of the match and it ended with no goal. However, in the second half of the match, Raul Jimenez scored the first goal for the home side at the 70th minute of the match. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer brought in Andreas Pereira in place of Ander Herrera in the second half of the match to change the course of the match. However, Diogo Jota scored another goal for Wolves at the 76th minute of the match to ensure their qualification to the semifinal of the FA Cup this season. Marcus Rashford pulled one goal back for the Red Devils at the dying minutes of the match; however it was of no use.
