During a promotional event for his upcoming movie Deadpool & Wolverine, Jackman expressed his enthusiasm for the sport and named Rohit Sharma as his favourite Indian cricketer.

When the ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ actor was asked who his favourite cricketer from Team India is, without missing a beat, the actor said, “Right now? Rohit.”
The speed of his response even took his co-star and friend, Ryan Reynolds, by surprise. Hugh then went on to say, “You took the cup. He was a beast.”
