Olympic silver medallist and current Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, paid a visit to Mary Kom and other female boxers participating in the forthcoming AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships to be held in New Delhi from November 9.

Unfortunately for Rajyavardhan, he visited them in their training time. As a result, he had to indulge in a friendly boxing bout with the Olympic bronze medallist Mary Kom.
Here is the pertaining tweet from Mary Kom:
Seeing is believing. Thank you Hon’ble @Ra_THORe ji for all the supports and encouragement’s. #PunchMeinHainDum @BFI_official @Media_SAI @IndiaSports pic.twitter.com/0lEty9NIEb

It is wonderful to see the Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs supporting the boxers by visiting them at the venue. Let’s hope that the words of encouragement prove beneficial for the Indian contingent.
On the other hand, the Boxing Federation of India declared Mary Kom as the brand ambassador for the event. Moreover, she even sounded confident of winning her sixth World Championship gold.
The Sportsindiashow team wishes Mary Kom and the rest of the Indian boxing contingent all the best for the 10th AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships.
