WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder successfully defended his title as he knocked out Dominic Breazeale in the first round at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Deontay Wilder started the round like his usual self, throwing the long jab and it didn’t Wilder long to land a clean looping right hand to the jaw that dropped Breazeale. He tried to get up, but couldn’t beat the referee’s count.

The most amazing part of this knockout win was that he predicted it beforehand. During the media week leading up to the fight, Wilder said he would end Breazeale inside three rounds.

When the Knockout happened, the Showtime boxing camera recorded the amazing reaction to people seating ringside for this fight.

Fans ringside were utterly shocked by the devastating knockout. Deontay Wilder has 40 knockouts to his record in 42 fights. He has knocked out every single man he has faced except Tyson Fury last December which ended up in a draw.
