Watch: Jasprit Bumrah involved in a war of words with England; Virat Kohli riled up in the Lord's dressing room

James Anderson had exchanged a few words with Jasprit Bumrah following the end of day’s play yesterday. However, on Day 5, shortly after the 90th over, Bumrah and Mark Wood were seen sparring with words near the umpire.

The umpire had to intervene and Bumrah was seen conveying his thoughts to Jos Buttler. Moreover, the official had instructed Mohammad Shami to remain quiet as well.

This was all the fuel that the Indian camp required, who were arguably on the ropes following Rishabh Pant’s departure early on Day 5. Bumrah channelled the anger in style and dispatched the very next delivery for a four following a wild slog that sent the Indian crowd in frenzy as well as an animated Virat Kohli in the dressing room.

The Indian tail have stitched a vital partnership to stretch their lead to the 200-run mark. The lead currently stands at 206 with two wickets remaining in India’s favour.
