As former India captain, MS Dhoni turned 39 on Tuesday, his Chennai super Kings teammate Dwayne Bravo has released his new song on social media which he wrote for MS Dhoni. Recently Bravo shared that he composed the lyrics of the song in the way that it speaks about some of his milestones while representing Team India. He is considered as one of the most successful captains for the side and also the only captain to win every major ICC trophies.

On the other hand, his Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK)’s official Twitter handle also released the song, on Monday evening with the caption: “The Helicopter 7 has taken off! @DJBravo47’s tribute to #Thala @msdhoni, his brother from another mother! #HappyBirthdayDhoni #WhistlePodu”

With this song, Bravo has paid a tribute to his ‘brother’ on his birthday, by releasing a brand-new song dedicated to him.

“Just to keep my fans updated on @mahi7781 song!! #7 as you’ll requested the plan is to release this song on his birthday, Also, we have a new dance!! It’s called the Helicopter ?? pls tag me your version of the helicopter ?? dance and I will pick out the best dance and make it the official Dance for MS!!.” Bravo had posted on his Instagram account.

While talking to Cricbuzz, Bravo had revealed how Dhoni’s guidance had helped his career.

“I want to do something for him. He is coming to the end of his career. He had a great career. Dhoni had a great impact on my personal career and also so many other cricketers. I wanted to do something special for him. I named the song No. 7. It’s his number. It’s a special number for him.”, Bravo concluded.

However, he has been out of action ever since India lost to New Zealand in the semi-final of ICC T20 World Cup in England last year. This also led the speculation of his retirement but he started practising for the upcoming Indian Premier League which eventually got cancelled amid this situation.for the time being owing to the outbreak of global pandemic novel coronavirus.
