Tempers ran high during the fag end of the Indian innings on Day 3 in Johannesburg. Former Mumbai Indians duo of Jasprit Bumrah and Marco Jansen shared a fiery exchange of words in the middle of the pitch.
The left-arm seamer tested Bumrah with a fierce barrage of bouncers. The tail-ender desperately tried to connect with those rough deliveries, but only found air with his bat while swatting.
The first bouncer had hit Bumrah on the shoulder, which followed an intent stare by the young left-arm pacer. The next bouncer hit right on the helmet, but Bumrah remained unfazed.
Jansen had a few words after yet another bouncer was missed at the other end of the pitch. Bumrah did not hold back and approached Jansen to respond with a set of words of his own. Watch the video of the incident right below:

The umpires had to intervene from the mid-pitch war of words escalating into something much more. Bumrah proceeded to miss the next two deliveries as well to close out the over.
The ace bowler vented his frustration out with a perfect hook shot off Kagiso Rabada in the next over. The mammoth six was one for the highlight reel, but Bumrah’s brief cameo came to an end soon. His dismissal was fittingly sealed by Jansen, who claimed the catch to send Bumrah back.
