The Indian cricket team travelled from Delhi to Mumbai on a Vistara flight specially arranged for their victory parade. This flight bore the unique call sign UK1845.

What makes this call sign remarkable is that it corresponds to the jersey numbers of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Rohit wears jersey number 45, while Kohli’s number is 18. Hence, ‘UK1845’ symbolizes their contributions to Indian cricket.

Both players announced their retirement from T20Is after lifting the coveted T20 World Cup trophy in Barbados on June 29. Their stellar performances and leadership were instrumental in India’s victory.

The Vistara flight took off from Delhi at 2:55 pm and landed in Mumbai at 5:20 pm. The team arrived at Terminal 2 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Airport, where fans eagerly awaited their heroes.

Interestingly, when the Indian team returned from Barbados, an Air India chartered plane brought them home. Its call sign was ‘AIC24WC,’ signifying India’s T20 World Cup triumph.

The champion cricketers received a rousing reception, and their journey from the airport to the city was filled with celebrations. Rohit Sharma proudly held the T20 World Cup trophy, and the team shared moments of joy with fans and dignitaries.
