As we all know, The on-field “babysitting” banter between India’s Rishabh Pant and Aussie Tim Paine from the recent series, had extended itself to a point of social media prominence.

As we all know, the popular “babysitter” jokes started in Australia during India’s tour Down Under in December late in 2018. The on-field banter between Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant and Australian captain Tim Paine had extended itself to a point of social media prominence.
It started when Tim Paine while keeping wickets in the third Test of the series at Melbourne, asked Rishabh Pant if he would like to babysit Paine’s kids, as Pant wasn’t selected to be a part of India’s ODI squad for the same tour. Pant had his chance to sledge too, while Paine was batting the next day.
The Indian youngster had the last laugh, as India wen on to win the Test and eventually, the series too.
The “babysitting” banters got elevated to a higher plane altogether, when in an Instagram story, Tim Paine’s wife Bonnie called Rishabh Pant the “best babysitter.” The story showed Rishabh Pant posing with the two kids of Bonnie and Tim Paine. This development was the result of the cheeky exchange from a few days earlier, in the above-mentioned Melbourne game.
After a successful tour for India in Australia, both teams return to face each other once again, starting February the 24th. This time around, the roles will be reversed, as India will play hosts with the Kangaroos visiting us.
