Virat Kohli shows his bat maintenance, Hardik Pandya makes a hilarious demand!

The cricketing icons of the country all have a massive following on multiple social media platforms, and they are never shy to share bits and pieces from their daily lives with their fan base. Its the same for Virat Kohli, the Indian captain who shared a video on how he takes care of his bats. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya joins in and says he wants his own bats done the same!

Almost the cent percent of the Indian cricket fraternity is now at the United Arab Emirates, as they lay the groundwork for the upcoming IPL 2020 season, the 13th edition of the cash rich league which is scheduled to run from 19th September to 10th November.

In the meantime, Virat Kohli took to social media to show off how he is leaving no stone unturned to make sure he is top notch before the tournament sets off next week.

Hardik Pandya wants his bats tweaked like Virat Kohli

In the video posted on his official Instagram on Friday, the the Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper showed how he takes care of his collection of MRF bats.

In the clip, Virat was seen sawing off a little bit off the top of the handles of each bat, which is necessary for the proper balancing of the run machine’s weapon for the 22 yards.

“It’s the small details that matter 👌. For me even couple of centimeters are crucial for the balance of a bat. I LOVE taking care of my bats 😍” Kohli captioned the clip. Check it out below-

The clip got over a whopping 1.5 million likes, as the netizens lauded over Kohli’s impressive method of touching up his gear.

Seeing the Men in Blue stalwart’s tweaking of his bats, Hardik Pandya arrived in the comment section, with a hilarious demand from Kohli.

Sending my few bats to you 👌 the 26 year old Mumbai Indians icon commented, as he wants his own bats done the same.

 

The 31 year old was on board with Pandya’s request, as he replied: “haha bhej de 👊😎” (haha send them)

Kicking off from next Saturday, the inaugural match of IPL 2020 will see a mouth watering face off between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in Abu Dhabi.
