In the ongoing lock down and away from the field, cricketers have taken to social media to connect to their fan base. From videos of workouts, hobbies, or some funny banter with family members, the players are seen across a number of platforms. Team India skipper Virat Kohli, although being very active in both Twitter and Instagram, has not been seen on Tik Tok. However, the legendary batsman is now being urged to join the video sharing platform by none other than David Warner!

Other than sharing videos on Instagram and joining for live sessions with fellow cricketers, David Warner has been very active on Tik Tok, with uploading regular videos. Even though a number of Indian cricketers are also seen on the platform, especially Yuzvendra Chahal, Kohli has not been active on Tik Tok. But, the Aussie batsman has been pushing Kohli to join him, the skipper recently revealed.

In a recent Instagram live session with squad member and compatriot Ravichandran Ashwin, Kohli mentioned that Warner has been pushing him to join Tik Tok.

“He’s been after my life. He’s been asking me to do one,” Kohli said in the live session, as they were talking about the Aussie run machine.

“I haven’t responded yet, but I will,” the Men in Blue skipper gave assurance to his supporters that he will be on the platform one day.

Ashwin himself also urged Kohli to try out the app. “I think there is a dinosaur thing on TikTok, you should give it a go,” the veteran spin bowler responded.

Along with his wife and two kids, Warner has been creating Tik Tok videos in a frenzy, from doing ‘Thumka Challenge’ to dancing to Indian songs. The Sunrisers Hyderabad star also uploads them to his Instagram.

With the suspension of the 2020 Indian Premier League season, Kohli and Warner will be seen in action on the pitch this December, as India will be on the tour of Australia.
