Virat Kohli has stated that he is honoured to be amongst the invitees for the Fit India Dialogue to be held at the first anniversary of Fit India Movement.

The Indian National Cricket Team captain, currently captaining RCB in IPL, will be interacting with PM Narendra Modi on the ocaassion. Some other fitness influencers and personalities have also been invited in the event created to propagate the benefits of fitness amongst the population.

Milind Soman, Paralympian gold medalist Devendra Jhajharia, nutrition expert Rujuta Diwekar, Afshan Ashiq, amongst others will share the virtual Fit India stage with Kohli and PM Narendra Modi.

“I have been a proponent of doing simple things and therefore, in the presence of our Prime Minister, I will speak on simple ways to be healthy and fit at any age,” Soman, a major fitness influencer, said.

According to the official website, the Fit India Movement is a movement to take the nation on a path of fitness and wellness. It provides a unique and exciting opportunity to work towards a healthier India. As part of the movement, individuals and organisations can undertake various efforts for their own health and well-being as well as for the health and well-being of fellow Indians.

A freedom run will also take place. A release from the site states:
