Virat Kohli. THe captain of the Indian Cricket Team. The no. 1 ICC Test batsman.. Critically acclaimed to be the best batsman in the world. A renowned gym freak, the Indian cricketing icon is also revered as a fitness guru. However, like all health conscious honchos, Virat too has his favourite break away from diet, which is a meal of chole bhature, and his love for it is nothing short of the focus he has on an opposition bowler!
Yesterday on his official Twitter handle, the Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper tweeted a picture of him in net practice, and captioned it with a hilarious statement: “Ball out of the Bowlers hand and Chholle Bhature for a cheat meal deserve the same kind of focus.”

The Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper is known for his love for the gym. His social media is often stocked with pictures and videos of of himself in workout sessions, lifting weights or showcasing his envious six pack abs.
Back in November, Kohli tweeted a video of himself doing hanging leg crunches, with the caption: “No days off.” The clip had taken the internet by storm. Check it out below-

Despite being a strict diet follower, the 31 year old had revealed earlier that chole bhature is his favourite cheat meal. Back in 2017, Kohli was present in a talk show called ‘Breakfast with Champions’, hosted by Indian actor and television presenter Gaurav Kapur.
After stating that he had been maintained a strict nutrition programme for four years, Virat was asked about as escape from the dietary regime.
“Ram’s Chole Bhature in Rajouri Garden 110 per cent. That too I’ll go to his shop and have it…not take away. By the time it comes home, it’s not a bhatura anymore.” Virat told Gaurav.
His words that followed also suggests that despite his diet routine’ he’s a big time foodie, and would have it directly at the market and not at home.
“It feels like a stale bread. Fresh bhatura’s where you pop a hole with your finger along with some onions, mint chutney and some pepper pickle,” he added.
Tuesday’s win over Sri Lanka in the second match of the T20 series saw a 30 off 17 knock from the skipper, as he and team will be taking on the visitors today again at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.
