Bernardo Silva has been a revelation. Only 24 years old but when he glides on the grass, it feels he has got the World on his feet. Dazzling movements , pin point passes and immense eye for the goal has got this Portuguese his first Premier League title and he has been one of the core reasons for City’s success recently.
Team leader and captain Vincent Kompany believes that Silva would definitely be the captain one day especially if he starts being a serious guy and drop some of the humour a little.
“I say to him often you are 50% clown, 50% leader,” the Belgian told RMC.
“When he becomes 25% clown, 75% leader he will become the captain of this team.
“He is so strong and to be honest there is nobody who deserves this title more.”
Kompany, who the fans expect to sign a new deal at City, will captain them at Wembley next weekend when they face Watford in the FA Cup final.
