Vijender Singh set to donate one month’s salary to family of martyred CRPF jawans

On 14th February a cowardly suicide bombing attack on CRPF convoy in Pulwama led to Martyrdom of 42 jawans. The suicide bomber Adil Ahmed Dar, 20, rammed an SUV loaded with 350 kg of explosives.

The bus was filled with 35-40 CRPF soldiers and it was a 78-vehicle CRPF convoy. The Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror group has claimed responsibility for the attack that took place about 20 km from Srinagar.

There are protest filled in the different parts of India against Pakistan and the Indian government also withdrew most favourable nation status to Pakistan.

Amongst all the chaos, Indians have been donating to different charitable organisations which looks after the well being of the families of the fallen soldiers. According to a journalist, Narendra Nath Mishra Bharat ke Veer website has collected ₹3.5 Crore till now from 16,000 people.

Even super-star boxer and current WBO intercontinental an Asia-Pacific champion Vijender Singh today took to Twitter and announced that he will be donating his 1 month’s salary to the family of the Martyrs of Pulwama attack.

I’m donating my one month’s salary for the martyrs of and want everyone to come forward and support the families. It is our moral duty to always standby them and make them feel proud of their sacrifices. Jai Hind
