It was homecoming for the Jaipur Pink Panthers as the inaugural season champions played for the first in two years in their home Jaipur and it all went according to plan but the defensive duo of Gujarat Fortunegiants had different plans and didn’t give up on the game and managed to snatch a draw from the jaws defeat. In the second game of the first day of Jaipur Leg it was UP Yoddha who showed true class and true spirit to make a comeback after trailing by 5 points against the star-studded Tamil Thalaivas, but it was yet again the raiding trio of Yoddhas which helped them to make a comeback against the Thalaivas.
Match 100: Jaipur Pink Panthers vs Gujarat Fortunegiants (28-28)
A defensive shoot-out between two teams whose defenders have done extremely well through-out the season. Yet again for the fortunegiants it was the duo of Sumit and Parwesh Bhainswal who stood up and led by example. For the Pink Panthers it was Vishal who took 9 tackle points out of which 8 were from super tackle and Shanthapanaselwam who scored 4 tackle points.
Match 101: UP Yoddha vs Tamil Thalaivas (42-22)
The UP Yoddhas rode on the performances of the offensive trio as Srikanth Jadhav once again led the pack and helped the Yoddhas to competulate an easy victory against Tamil Thalaivas even after the latter had an initial lead of 5 points. It was yet another disappointing performance for the Thalaivas veteran Manjeet Chillar has he could nly complete one point.
