Vaishali, a rising star in women’s chess, was selected by the Ganges Grandmasters in the Superstar Women 1 division. She will join forces with the illustrious Viswanathan Anand, forming a formidable lineup. Vaishali’s inclusion reflects her dedication and skill, and she is eager to learn from the seasoned players in this prestigious league.
Notable chess legends have been designated as icon players for their respective teams. Magnus Carlsen (Alpine SG Pipers), Viswanathan Anand (Ganges Grandmasters), Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (Mumba Masters), Ian Nepomniachtchi (Triveni Continental Kings), and newcomers Hikaru Nakamura (American Gambits) and Anish Giri (Alaskan Knights) will lead their squads.
