Twitteratis send Birthday greetings to Cheteshwar Pujara as he turns 31!


Cheteshwar Pujara has emerged as one of India’s finest test batsman and people have even started comparing him to Rahul Dravid who is nicknamed as ‘The Wall’ amongst cricket fans around the world.

Pujara has turned 31 today and he comes from humble beginnings and was born in Rajkot, Gujarat to Arvind Pujara who was a Ranji Trophy player and it was his father who recognised his cricketing talent.

Having made his test debut back in 2010 against Australia, and in recent Test series against the Aussies having scored 521 runs in seven innings with a batting average of 74.42 and three centuries to his name, once again proving to be a valuable asset to the Indian cricket team.

On his 31st birthday, wishes started pouring in thick and fast from the cricketing fraternity.
