Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand continue their campaign at the ongoing All-England Championships as the Indian duo have now secured their berth into the semifinals, courtesy to their brilliant victory over Li Wen Mei and Liu Xuan Xuan.
The world no. 17 Indian pair took 64 minutes to thrash their Chinese adversaries 21-14 18-21 21-12 in their quarterfinal outing, retaining the Indian campaign in the tournament.

This will be Treesa-Gayatri’s second straight semifinal appearance at the All England Championships after reaching the last four stage in the previous edition as well. Their next opponents will either be the the pair of Baek Ha Na and Lee So Hee from Korea.
In the previous rounds, the Indian pair gained victories over Thais Jongkolphan Kititharakul and Ravindra Prajongjai, sseded 7th, as well as the Japanese pair and former world No. 1 Yuki Fukushima and Sayaka Hirota.
