The Men in Blue opened up the scoreboard in the first quarter, with the opening goal of the match coming from Dilpreet Singh, putting India in a 1-0 lead.
Minutes after the first goal, Britain aimed to equalize and get back into the scoring but a superb save from goalkeeper PR Sreejesh kept India ahead.

Now, they will be up against Belgium on 3rd August in their first semi final appearance since the 1972 Games.
